Thankful for blessings

This is a card I made on January 25. It is also a flat card, and I actually used stamps from three different sets to make it.  :)

After I had already done a bit on the front of the card. I stamped the bird on the hill and the stars directly on the card. I used a piece of patterned paper and cut it to go on the right side of the card, where I stamped one of the sentiments directly onto the paper.

This is the sentiment I wanted to use inside the card, adding to the whole "be thankful" theme of the card. I stamped this sentiment on cardstock, cut it out and glued it inside the card. I should have taken another (read: better  ;)  ) photo of this part, but I didn't realize the photo didn't look so great until after I'd already sealed the card in its envelope.

This was something I was going to stamp/use on the back of the envelope, but I messed it up just a tiny bit. So instead, I decided to use it for the back of the card.

Front of the card after I colored in the images and added two clear "sparkles" to the stars.

After I had colored in the background with a colored pencil.... I wish it had come out better and neater, but oh well. I did what I could, and I felt like leaving it plain white with stars in the background would just be odd. (Fortunately, the recipient agreed and said it looked fine as I had done it.)

Completed card

Back of the card after I affixed the earlier stamped images I had shown, and wrote in the "handmade" information.
