New Year's

I don't typically send New Year's cards, but now that I'm making cards, I couldn't resist doing these.  :)  I didn't do a massive mailing, though -- just sent out these few.  :)   Four in total, to be exact, and here are three of those:

Of course I love this sentiment. :) It was actually a free stamp that came with a Unity gift card I got for Christmas; yay!!

I used a clock pattern stamp I had that featured four clocks in a row, and stamped it repeatedly using a Desert Sand ink pad color (Close to My Heart) to create this background on a plain white card.

I used this as a simple inside sentiment, and then wrote a message underneath for each recipient.

The final outcome. :) I used blue to color around the edges of the cutout sentiments just to add a touch of color without going overboard. I think it would have looked better if I had done the sentiment in 3D, but at the time I wanted to leave them flat for mailing. Next time I'll know to try the 3D effect.  ;)
