Christmas cards

Since it's been a while, this is just a quick look at some of the Christmas cards I made for this past Christmas. There was another set I made from a different kit of photo Christmas cards, but I won't post those.  So for now, here's a look at the 2011 Christmas cards I made:

These were cards I made from a cool kit. :) I did three of each card design.

I absolutely love this penguin!  :)

A LOT of the Christmas cards I sent featured this cute little guy.  :) I just love how he looks, and really like the cute little sentiment, too.

Apparently with everything else I had going on during that time, I don't seem to have any photos of the actual cards, which is kind of a bummer. But, when assembling the cards featuring this last penguin, I colored in the tinsel one of three colors, using metallic glitter pens -- silver, red or green. I then used some small adhesive "sparkles" I had in those colors, and stuck 3 to 4 on the larger parts of the tinsel to add a little something to it. :)  I used my Sizzix Texture Boutique machine to emboss a snowflake background on light blue cardstock, which I then cut and affixed to the blank white cards. I then affixed the colored in, sparkly-tinsel penguin on top of the blue embossed snowflake background to finish out the card, and wrote inside the card.  :)  That's a description, just with no photo unfortunately.
